+ Left my long term boyfriend Tony. It was really hard on both of us, but It had to happen. We have a stronger relationship as best friends, and its wonderful.
+ Found my soulmate, Jesse. After dating for a month he moved in with me and now 9 months later we're engaged. I love him with all my heart and hope to spend forever with him.
+ Picked up hula hooping, and it changed my life. Ive lost weight and begun toning, started meditating while hooping, and impressed myself by picking up tricks I would have never thought this time last year I would be able to do. Ive started fire hooping as well, and I can't wait to perform in front of a crowd!
+ Adopted a wonderful kitten we named Buu (after dragonball Z) She has my heart.
+ Got a Car! Even if it doesn't run well enough to drive to Philly yet, it gets us around up here.
+ Turned 21, and still hardly ever drink!
+ Started working out everyday. Its done miracles to my mental health and general health. I even did my first real push up, something ive sadly never been able to do before.
+Learned how to roll a pretty damn good joint :-D
Plans for 2010:
+ Get into school, even if its just for a few classes. I love to learn and almost hate myself for waiting so long to get back into the swing of things.
+ Reconnect with my Philly people. I haven't seen majority of the people I still consider my best friends in over a year, and I want to change that. I need Kelley, Andi, Amanda, Mac n' Stef (they are married so I consider them one entity., and all the other wonderful people down there back in my life. They all influenced who I am so much...
+ Tiffy and I throwing our own Burning Man spirited event on her Mother's farm. Its still in the beginning of planning, but it means the world to us.
+ Road trip! I want to just get in the car and drive!! The only thing holding me back right now is the fact that our car doesn't run the best. Im thinking California, as trite as that may be. I want nothing more than to dance in the red wood forest.

I guess I needed to pick up livejournal today. Its been a hell of a terrible one.
My Mother tried to kill herself a few days ago. She overdosed on pills, though Im not sure of what kind yet. I found out at work, as soon as I got in my Aunt Gina called and told me the news. She has been trying to get ahold of me for a few days, but I dont know why i just never sat down and called her back. Im actually not even sure what hospital she is in...
My Aunt said that she is unconscious and unresponsive. She is living off a ventilator.
Im so shocked im almost speechless. I just had to write it in here to try and process that this is really happening.
My Mother and I have never really been close, but we have kinda gotten along better the past few years than we ever have. This is all so overwhelming I guess that is all I have to say.
fuck me.
My Aunt is picking me up tomorrow to take me down to the hospital. Im so nervous.

So Jesse and I are officially road legal! Haha, its really wonderful to know that Im not trapped in the bubble of Schuylkill county, even though we haven't actually done anything except run to the grocery store yet.
We're planning on venturing down to Philly next Thursday with our friends Tiffy and Stec. We're probably going to stick to the south street area for food and maybe a movie, and then crash at Bangarang house in Fishtown. Im super excited, even if there are no parties to check out on a Thursday.
I really can't wait to get Jesse to his first Rave. I dont think he could truly understand why I love the Philly scene until it swallows him whole. I dont think we're going to be able to go back down to Philly for WTF, so PEX's Halloween jawn will most likely be his first event. I need to start thinking of a costume and drop a few pounds to look good in said costume.
Oh. Oh. Oh. Im getting a new camera in the next few weeks, so ill be a whore for picture updates.
That is all for right now, im in a doodling mood.

Im a few weeks overdue for an update, so here goes!
So today I got the title transferred to my 1991 Buick Century Sedan to my name. Next friday im taking care of my insurance and the registration/tags. Im so freaking psyched.
This means freedom. This means trips to Philly to see Kelley, Andi, and Amanda. This means ill be able to get to Playa Del Feugo in October.
Jesse finally got a job up at our local Walmart. I hate Walmart and what they stand for, but in such a small community with so few jobs you take what you can get. He is in the Deli, which he doesn't entirely hate, so im happy for him.
Um um um... I overdrew my bank account by less than $2 last month, but since my mail goes to Tony's house and not mine (I need to change this) I didn't find out about it until the fees were through the roof and they closed out my account. So now I need to get a new bank account and pay the balance.
That is about all I have right now. Im going to get a camera in the next few weeks, so expect lots of picture updates :D :D :D

and im still alive.
I have abandoned my busy city life for a more rural lifestyle. It's not me, I still miss the city more than I could say, but I know it was meant to happen because im convinced I found my soul mate. His name is Jesse, and, well, hes absolutely wonderful.
This is the first time ive had internet for over a year, too. So im looking forward to catching up on some of my favorite journals like ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) moontrip and a BUNCH of communities.
Ill be back with a vengeance this time

In other news, God's Basement, the venue that I used to sell sno cones in was the subject of an NBC undercover report. Of course it's the typical media coverage of a rave... drugs, teens, blah blah blah. Looks like that venue bites the dust.
